Dem Booties Doh

It’s a blessing and a curse – I almost always find clothing items I love when I’m not looking for them, but the items I AM looking for prove to be completely elusive.

Example: it took me over a year to find a crop top that I liked, but during the long search for it I found a sweater, pants, shoes, a dress and a top (probably more, but who can keep track).

This little number happens to be one of those items that I stumbled upon in the search for the crop top. Nordstrom Rack, you’ll be the death of me AND my wallet. Buuuut you can get so many nice things for a fraction of what they cost elsewhere (or so their tags would lead me to believe…).

I wore this recently to a small party of family friends my parents hosted. It was the perfect combo of dressy/trendy/casual for the event and I got many compliments on it.

The same night, my brother photographed my sister and her fiancé for their engagement photos, so I was tiptoeing in heels all over the grass as his lighting assistant. You could say I’m multitalented.

Speaking of these heels. I’M IN LOVE. I love the style, the fact that by tying my feet into the heels I can’t walk out of them, how comfortable they are, the stacked heel, just…everything. I discovered these Tallie tassel booties on Sole Society, a shop I had never used before, but will definitely be visiting again. Just by looking at their site for the first time, they gave me a 20% off code, which I immediately used. I first noticed these heels in the blue, but I thought the black would be more versatile for my wardrobe.  And because I want to wear these literally every day of my life, I don’t think you could go wrong with any of the colors.
