The Wedding Guest: Party Pockets

Since college, the number of weddings in my life has slowly risen, necessitating that I own a number of cocktail dresses to suit the occasions – bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, the wedding itself, etc. (I’m not complaining, I love dresses).

Most weddings are between May and October, resulting in a rotation of light, airy frocks.

Introducing, Party Pockets.

Four things are necessary for wedding preparedness:

Chapstick – this is actually a life preparedness item

Dollar bills – a quickly-poured and delightful drink results from a well-tipped bartender

Tissues – for spring and summer allergies, duh

Phone or camera – all your friends are already here, so the true need here is the image capture (the phone makes it convenient to instantly upload to Insta or Facebook, whatever your social media of choice)

And guess what. All the above items fit in these glorious pockets, which I dub Party Pockets since they enable the most successful of reception partying. Plus, no need to rely on a fella’s pockets to hold your valuables while you dance the night away!

Party on, Pockets.
